What does a bathroom renovation cost — and how long does it take?
The honest answer first: it depends on area, fittings and building fabric. So you still have a ballpark figure — from more than 25 years of bathroom projects in the Western Palatinate, roughly: bathroom projects start at around €4,000 depending on scope, an upscale wellness bathroom with freestanding tub, natural stone and lighting concept is above that. After the measurement you don't get a made-up flat rate from us but a transparent quote — billed by actual effort.
Build time: 14 to 21 working days for a complete bathroom, bindingly recorded in the construction schedule. Because tilers, plumbing and electrics are coordinated by one team here, there are no idle days between trades — the most common reason bathroom renovations elsewhere take months.
Grants for accessible conversions: with a recognized care level, the care insurance fund subsidizes home improvement measures such as a level-access shower; depending on the program situation, KfW funds for barrier reduction may be added. We're happy to discuss which pots apply in your case during the consultation — the application is filed by you or your care or energy advisor.
